Canadian Express Entry Graphic

Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) declared important changes to the Express Entry System today. The deadline for which applicants are required to submit an electronic application for permanent residence through the Express Entry system has changed to 60 calendar days. The previous deadline was 90 calendar days from when the individual received an invitation to apply. If you are an Express Entry candidate who received an invitation to apply for permanent residence after June 26, 2018, you will have 60 days to submit an application for permanent residence. If you are an Express Entry candidate who received an invitation before June 26, 2018, you will still have 90 days to submit an application.
